No. By private car, allow roughly 3–3.5 hours to Oslob, 2.5–3 hours to Moalboal and 3–4 hours to Kawasan Falls in Badian. Group pickups and traffic can make the day longer.
Not in the city centre. The nearest resort beaches are on Mactan; the better-known beach and reef areas are around Moalboal, Bantayan, Malapascua and smaller islands reached by boat.
The encounters are reliable because whale sharks are provisioned daily. Research has documented altered behaviour, so this is not a fully wild encounter. Read the rules and the ethical debate before choosing.
Yes, some tours start at Cebu Pier and use the fast ferry. Check that the listing explicitly says “From Cebu”; many Bohol tours start in Panglao or Tagbilaran and do not include the crossing.
Not necessarily. Long south-Cebu tours usually include pickup, while Cebu City and Mactan have taxis and app-based transport. Self-driving means heavy traffic and long road days, so no rental-car box is shown on this site.
